Beavers have only existed in the Piwitschen family since 2000. With the Beaver, all the Caper Piwitschen branches are complete. We offer a wide range of activities for Beavers: arts and crafts, group games, cooking and baking and small trips. If you'd like to join our Beavers then come and see us. We meet every Saturday from 2pm - 4pm at the Home during term time.
The Wëllefcher are a branch for children aged 8 to 11. Already in the second school year you are a Wëllefchen. We have meetings, trips, weekends and camps.
During the school term we meet on Saturdays from 2pm - 4pm at the Home.
Scouts are aged between 11 and 14. At the Piwitschen they almost count as grown-ups. They're very active and offer a great and varied programme: trips, night games, Hikes, theatre, orienteering, weekends and camps. In the summer, we often go on a 2-week camp, often abroad.
In this group, Explorers are divided into "Units" and the name "Scout Leader" is replaced by "Responsable", because at this age (14 to 16), activities are supposed to be decided, organised and carried out together. Overall coordination is the responsibility of the Responsable Unité Explorer (RUE). He is also responsible for relations with the other branch leaders, the group leader and the Explorer commissioner. He is assisted by his Assistant Responsable Unité Explorer (ARUE). Activities are decided and organised together so that everyone can give their opinion and say what they would like to do.
The Rovers are the oldest in the group and are often active in other Branches. They also do lots of different activities such as visits to big cities, camps abroad, going to the market, bowling, and much more. These activities normally take place with the Tembo.
Tembo is the new FNEL branch for the oldest members of the Group. They are also known as Rover+. Their activities normally take place with the Rovers or they are active in other Branches as Leaders.
