Caper Piwitschen, a luxembourgish scout group founded in 1981, is affiliated to the Fédération Nationale des Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Luxembourg (FNEL). The FNEL is independent of any political movement. The guiding principles of the FNEL are secularism and pluralism. Its core values are tolerance, open-mindedness, respect for others and solidarity, as taught by the father of scouting, Lord Baden Powell.
weekly meetings on Saturday afternoons;
are day trips, weekends or camps of three nights or more during school holidays ;
large camps in Luxembourg and abroad.
Our leaders are all volunteers, aged 16 and over. They provide competent and dynamic supervision. They follow a two-year training course approved by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth (MENJE).
